Possibly moving off quarterback Blumrick is getting some reps as a pass-catcher in spring practice, Michael Niziolek of The Roanoke Times reports.

Impact Virginia Tech added a pair of quarterbacks through the transfer portal this winter, which could put Blumrick on the outside looking in regarding the Hokies' quarterback competition. Coach Brent Pry told reporters Wednesday that Blumrick is getting a chance to "catch the ball some" in spring practice.
