Impact During 2023, Baxter earned offensive newcomer of the year. He did not play 2024 due to a knee injury. After eight games for 2025, Baxter has two years of collegiate eligibility remaining. Considering how well the running back excelled for Texas, him being a top commodity is expected. Given his status, it would not be surprising if Baxter sits out UT's bowl game Dec. 31 against Michigan.
