Should see healthy workload Bentacur is expected to play a good amount this fall for the Tigers, per Paul Strelow of On3.

Impact Bentacur may be the 1A in this tight end room just behind Olsen Patt-Henry, but the junior should still see plenty of action in 2026. Last fall, he reeled in 20 catches for 215 yards and three scores, and could very easily build on that this season.

Two touchdowns out of nowhere Bentancur reeled in all two targets for 53 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 38-10 victory over North Carolina.

Impact Bentacur only had four catches coming into the rout of North Carolina, and he only added two to that total against the Tar Heels, but both went for touchdowns in an utter demolition of Bill Belichick's squad in Chapel Hill. The second-string tight end doesn't figure to be able to keep up this production, as this appears to be an outlier performance amidst a blowout. Still, the Tigers may have a player in their redshirt freshman second-string tight end.
