Impact Cheeks was expected to be UTEP's top receiver this season, though he's only totaled five receptions for 52 yards in his first two games. He did find the end zone Saturday, however, bringing in a 13-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. Cheeks transferred this offseason from Northern Colorado, where he totaled 929 yards and six scores on 71 receptions.
