Impact Thompson suffered an apparent injury last week against Miami (OH) but will be back for the season finale. After breaking out for 128 yards in Week 9, the sophomore wideout has just one catch for eight yards over his last three games and will look to get going Saturday.

Impact Fortunately for Thompson, he was healthy enough to participate in Northern Illinois' game in Week 12. But for the second straight week, he failed to grab a reception. Unlike Week 11, when Thompson logged at least 105 kick-return yards and one touchdown, he recorded nothing at all against Akron. Thompson will look to bounce back in Week 13.

Impact Thompson had not carried an injury designation throughout the week, so his name popping up so close to game-time is something worth monitoring, although, he did manage to log just 35 snaps last week, his lowest Week 7. The redshirt sophomore wide receiver has totaled 25 receptions for 372 yards and three scores across nine appearances this season.

Huge 100-yard game against Cards Thompson had eight receptions (on 13 targets) for 128 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 25-23 loss against Ball State.

Impact Thompson went ahead and topped last week's season-best performance, with season-high targets, catches and yards against the Cardinals. The 6-foot wide receiver is slowly slipping into that WR1 man for the Huskies, but the coming weeks should provide a better indication on who will command the most targets for the team.

Impact Thompson produced a season-high 80 receiving yards against the Rockets, making up for some lousy performances in the recent weeks. The 6-foot wide receiver's volatility still makes him a risky player stats-wise, but his involvement in the coming weeks should determine whether he could be a play moving forward.
