Injury season-ending Rising (leg) is out for the remainder of Utah's 2024 season, Josh Furlong of KSL News reports.

Impact Rising was limited to three games during Utah's 2024 season. Though playing less than five of them would be enough for a redshirt year, he already used his one year ago. Rising sat out 2023 due to knee complications.

Impact Rising had a rough showing in his return to action in the Utes' upset loss at the hands of Arizona State, throwing three interceptions. Now, the quarterback is out and there's no time table for his return. This will leave true freshman Isaac Wilson as the starter moving forward for Utah.

Impact Rising struggled with accuracy in his return from a hand injury. He also took a hard hit in the first quarter that hobbled his leg and slowed him down against the Sun Devils. Utah's offense had a lot of chances against Arizona State, however, was not able to capitalize as they settled for four field goals and one of Rising's three interceptions came in the red zone.
