Commits to Iowa State Pettaway has committed to Iowa State, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.

Impact Pettaway, the 2025 MAC Freshman of the Year, will transfer to a P4 college before his 2026 season. The running back logged 72 rushing attempts for 365 yards, 5.1 averaged per carry. As a receiving option, he scored two touchdowns. Considering that none of Iowa State's 2026 RBs logged more rushing yards or TDs last year, Pettaway is a top-option candidate.
