Impact Brady didn't just have a strong game. Trelon Smith returned from injury, but Brady had 22 touches to Smith's 14. The fact Smith didn't cut too much into Brady's role is encouraging going forward for the longtime UTSA back.

Impact The Roadrunners were throwing all over their FBS opponent, so running the ball didn't come into play much. Brady has established himself as the lead back for UTSA, but his 3.4 yards per carry is a concern.

Impact The gimmicky touchdown pass was a nice bonus for fantasy players, but the core of Brady's potential value is elsewhere. Over the last two weeks he has seemingly emerged as the primary replacement to Sincere McCormick, and even if he doesn't have his predecessor's upside, he has a key role in an imposing offense, and that matters.
