Impact Zurbrugg will leave the Aggies after spending two years with the program, where he did not appear in a game. The 6-foot-3 quarterback will have three years of eligibility remaining, and he'll likely look for a team where he'll have a better chance of seeing the field.

Impact Utah's team is part of a Power Conference and presents an incredibly difficult challenge for Zurbrugg, a completely unproven quarterback. The 2024 Utes' primary QB was Isaac Wilson, currently still part of their team. Devon Dampier committed to Utah after being one of the FBS' best quarterbacks this year. Zurbrugg's opportunities may dim further should Cameron Rising (leg) somehow log another year of collegiate eligibility. However, Utah's history indicates the former being QB1 is not impossible. Just this year, injuries caused U of U to use four different men under center.
