Transfers to Appalachian State McBride announced his decision to transfer to Appalachian State on his personal Twitter account Sunday.

Impact After two seasons with Texas State, McBride has landed in Appalachian State for his senior season. The 6-foot-0 quarterback completed 146 passes for 1,507 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. McBride missed the final five games of the season while nursing an ankle injury.
