Impact Emanuel, who was a backup quarterback last season after spending three seasons as a backup for Central Michigan, has found a new role this offseason. Seeing that he didn't have a chance to start at quarterback, Emanuel and the coaching staff agreed on him moving to the outside. He has shown flashes as a playmaker throughout his career, including two long touchdown runs in last seasons bowl game, and has totaled 1,116 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns over his career. It's a big change for him so it's too early to tell if he will be more of a gadget player or have a more significant role.
