Impact King sat out four games Purdue played between Weeks 4 and 7 of the team's 2023 season. Before his injury, he made only one field goal across his three attempts for Purdue. However, King made all but one of his extra points and seems to be a preferred option compared to Purdue's other kickers, who have been inconsistent during his absence.
