He sat out a Week 13 matchup with Mercer in order to preserve his redshirt, and the senior quarterback will play out his final year at a different program.

Big day in Iron Bowl loss Daniels completed 18 of 39 passes for 259 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 27-20 loss against Alabama. He also had 23 rushes for 108 yards.

Impact Daniels had a massive day as he went for 367 total yards against the Crimson Tide. This was Daniels second straight performance with over 300 total yards after taking last week off to retain his redshirt eligibility. With the Auburn season coming to a close and Daniels having eligibility remaining, it will be interesting to see if he decides to stay at Auburn with the emergence of Deuce Knight last week and a change at the head coaching position.

He logged a 59.7 completion percentage on 119 pass attempts for 797 yards and a 3-2 TD-INT ratio. Daniels also recorded 63 carries for 280 yards and two touchdowns, assuring that he would finish 2025 with at least 1,000 all-purpose yards and five TDs.
