Doesn't do much against Miami Meeks caught 2 of 4 targets for nine yards during Friday's 33-20 defeat versus Miami (FL).

Impact Meeks was targeted frequently, but he just didn't have enough room against the suffocating defense of the Hurricanes. The senior from Las Vegas opened with a strong 93 receiving yards and TD against Akron on Sept. 3, but he has been limited to four catches for just 41 yards across his past two games.

Limited to two receptions in 2OT win Meeks totaled two catches for 32 yards in Saturday's 38-36 2OT win at Purdue.

Impact Meeks opened with three receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown against Akron in a lopsided game. He is near the top of the depth chart, so his lack of production in a double-overtime thriller is a little on the concerning side. We'll see if he can get Gio Lopez's eye back on Friday against the visiting Miami Hurricanes in the ACC opener.

Cracks off long TD in victory Meeks supplied 93 receiving yards on three receptions with a touchdown in Thursday's 38-16 win over Akron.

Impact The highlight of the evening was a first-half scoring hook-up with new quarterback Gio Lopez for 72 yards. He had one of the team's two scoring strikes of at least 72 yards, as the Wake Forest passing attack carved up the Akron secondary. It was quite the debut, as he is nearly halfway to his career-high of 189 receiving yards set at Louisville in 2025.

Listed as co-starter for Week 1 Meeks is listed as a co-starter for Wake Forest's regular-season opener Thursday against Akron, Deacons Illustrated reports.

Impact Meeks and Jack Foley are listed as co-starters for Wake Forest's X-receiver position. If the former can land a starting spot, it would be a big deal for the ex-Louisville transfer. The top role would help Meeks better his chances of improving from his 2025, when he logged 17 receptions (on 27 targets) for 189 yards and one touchdown.

Looking like WR3 in camp Meeks is looking like a first-choice wide receiver during Louisville's fall camp, Alexis Cubit of the Louisville Courier Journal reports.

Impact Back in 2024, a limited Meeks logged three receptions for 42 yards and one touchdown. If the Louisville team's fall camp is any indication, a statistical surge looks likely on his part. But because Louisville's receiver corps is fresh off an offseason splash of acquisitions, Meeks is not a sure lock, and multiple assuring practices may be needed.
