Headed to UNLV Colandrea has announced his commitment to UNLV, Hayes Fawcett of On3.com reports.

Impact Colandrea will join the Rebels after spending the last two seasons with Virginia. The 6-foot sophomore quarterback threw for 4,083 yards (352-of-566), 26 touchdowns and 20 interceptions during his time with the Cavaliers, adding on 502 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Colandrea appears likely to take over at the helm for UNLV next season.

Impact Colandrea has been very efficient in both of his outings this season as a passer. In a blowout win over Richmond, he completed 73 percent of his passes. Even when he threw the ball 20 more times against Wake Forest, he still completed 76 percent of his passes. He now has five passing touchdowns through two weeks, also a good sign. He'll need to clean up the two interceptions, but overall, it's been a promising start to the season for Colandrea.
