Impact Orji saw action in the Week 2 matchup against UCLA, but he won't be returning to the gridiron this season. His absence wasn't expected to have a lot of fantasy implications since Anthony Colandrea will remain the starter, but Cameron Friel is expected to handle the backup duties under center from now on.

Impact After ceding quarterback duties to Anthony Colandrea in the second half of UNLV's Week 0 opener, Orji found himself as the backup once again in Week 1, only entering the game for a handful of designed runs. While Orji could continue to see occasional usage in the run game, the starting job appears to belong to Colandrea going forward.

Impact It seems likely that Colandrea will get the start, considering he handled all of the work in the second half for UNLV and Orji didn't look particularly impressive, fumbling the ball on his first drive. Still, both players remain listed as starters, but at this point that seems like misdirection to keep Sam Houston guessing. Both signal callers could play again, but Orji figures to take a back seat.

Impact Orji and Anthony Colandrea played alternating drives to start Saturday's contest, with the Michigan transfer starting UNLV's first drive under center. However, Orji had a costly fumble on the goal line on his first possession and Colandrea ultimately took over as the starter in the second half.
