Impact Haston spent two seasons with UMass, tossing for 215 yards, two touchdowns and one interception across limited action. He'll have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Continues as gadget QB Haston was 1-for-1 passing for four yards during Saturday's 59-21 defeat versus Georgia. He also had three rushes for 50 yards.

Impact Haston is seeing most of the time as a change-of-pace quarterback. AJ Hairston continues to get most of the snaps under center. Both could very well be battling for starting quarterback next fall.

Gets running time Haston had six rushes for 62 yards with one touchdown. He did not attempt a pass during Saturday's 35-34 overtime loss to Liberty.

Impact Haston was used in more of a Wildcat formation against Liberty. The freshman did not register a pass, but saw success on the ground. With starting quarterback Taisun Phommachanh injured, the Minutemen went with freshmanAJ Hairston and Haston at quarterback and it almost worked. With the announcement that Phommachanh is out for the season, UMass will be looking at both freshmen signal callers to basically tryout for the 2025. Unfortunately, both will have their hands full this Saturday (Nov. 23) against Georgia who are the top 30 defense against both passing and running in the nation.

Impact Haston also appeared in the loss to Missouri on Oct. 12 where the freshman was 3-for-3 for 10 yards. Haston received time under center after the game was out of control. The freshman is looking for as much playing time as possible as senior starting quarterback Taisun Phommachanh will probably not be back next season.

Impact Haston came in the start of the fourth quarter as the game was in hand. The Minutemen take on FCS Wagner in the next game on Oct. 26 so the redshirt freshman could definitely get snaps in the contest.
