Yohan Traore - College Basketball News & Rumors

Enters transfer portal Traore is available in the transfer portal, Dushawn London of 247Sports reports.

Impact Traore's entry into the portal puts his Butler future in doubt and signals a potential rotation change in the team's frontcourt. The player's departure would remove a forward who handled a meaningful role last season. Traore averaged 8.3 points and 3.0 rebounds last season.

Solid in Sunday's loss Traore had nine points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-7 FT) and seven rebounds over 31 minutes during Sunday's 63-56 loss to Seton Hall.

Impact Traore put together a solid outing in Sunday's loss as he tied a season high with seven rebounds and scored nine points in a season-high 31 minutes off the bench. He wasn't particularly efficient though as he hit just three of his eight attempts from the field and sunk just three of his seven free throw attempts. He'll look to help lead Butler out of this six-game losing streak Wednesday at Georgetown.

Scores 15 off bench Traore accumulated 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 FT), six rebounds and one block across 16 minutes during Wednesday's 88-58 victory over Southern Indiana.

Impact Traore opened the season as the Bulldogs' backup center, but that did not stop him from having a solid performance. He led the Bulldogs' bench with 15 points while shooting 60 percent from the field, and it could've been more but he only made half of his six free throw attempts. He played nearly as many minutes (16) as Drayton Jones (17) who started at center, so early signs suggest that Traore has a chance to take over a starting spot if he continues to perform well.
