Impact Lee had his first game as a Gator in which he hit at least half of his shots. Coming into Saturday's game, the Princeton transfer had converted just 26.3 percent of his field goals 20.3 percent of his 3-pointers. Coach Todd Golden has shown confidence in the 6-4 senior and maybe Saturday's performance will be start of a hot streak.

Impact Even though he scored well, the Princeton transfer continues to struggle from the field. He is converting just 26.3 percent of his field goals and 20.3 percent of his 3-pointers, which are well below his Tiger numbers. Unlike his Ivy League days, Lee is taking the majority of his shots from the perimeter. He may be better served to attack the basket, although the Gator bigs may be clogging the lane. Maybe he works his way out of the shooting slump starting on Saturday against George Washington.

Impact Lee had been in a deplorable slump and had hit just 4-of-31 shots (12.9 percent) in his previous four games and did not score in double digits in any of those games. He had only managed 3.8 assists during that span. Maybe the performance against the Friars will open the basket for the 6-4 senior.

Impact Through three games, Lee has struggled mightily with his shot. He is hitting just 26.8 percent from the field and 20.7 percent on 3-pointers. The 6-4 Canadian has found other ways to contribute and appears to be the point guard while Boogie Fland plays more off the ball. Look for some shots to fall for Lee against Miami on Sunday.

Impact Golden's statement was somewhat unclear as to whether Lee would start at shooting guard, but it appears that Fland will start at point guard and Lee will facilitate the offense when Fland is off the court. The presence of two point guards will likely hurt both player's fantasy value as neither Fland nor Lee will average the at least 5.0 assists they did last season. Keep an eye on the Gator rotation early to see how this platoon situation shakes out.

Staying in Gainesville Lee will not test the waters ahead of the 2025 NBA Draft and will play for Florida for the 2025-26 season, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact It's big news for the defending champs as Lee was a highly sought after commodity in the transfer portal this off-season. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 16.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists with Princeton this past season and was previously examining the NBA Draft process before withdrawing to focus on life as a Gator. He will retain a single year of eligibility with Florida.
