Out vs. DePaul
Berg (ankle) is out for Saturday's game against DePaul, according to Taylor Eldridge of The Wichita Eagle.
Impact
In between Wichita State's latest and upcoming game, Berg suffered a sprained ankle. Though the injury is not long-term, he will log at least one DNP. Without him available, Wichita State's starting lineup requires a change, and it will see Emmanuel Okorafor starting at center. Both he and Noah Hill are lined up to see increased minutes at WSU's five position.

The seven-footer was coming off his worst game of the season with just four points and three rebounds in the loss to Western Kentucky in the Bahamas. Berg leads the Shockers with 7.9 rebounds to go along with 8.1 points on 50.0 percent from the field.

Snags nine boards
Berg accumulated 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds and one block over 23 minutes during Thursday's 76-70 loss to Colorado State in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
Impact
Berg's offensive game has been spotty, but he has been consistent on the boards. The Shockers are back in action on Friday against Western Kentucky.

Impact
The Swedish center had his first double-double of the season. He looks like he will be a mainstay in the Shocker offense, even though he has not eclipsed 23 minutes in any of the three wins. Berg is averaging 12.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks to make him an above average fantasy center.

Announces next destination
Berg committed to Wichita State on Friday, Taylor Eldridge of The Wichita Eagle reports.
Impact
Berg left the Boilermakers after two seasons of limited action as a backup. The 7-2 sophomore becomes the Shockers tallest player by far and he should see a significant spike in minutes with his new program.

Will be available Thursday
Berg (foot) will be available for Thursday's game against Minnesota, Dustin Schutte of SI.com reports.
Impact
Berg missed action against Toledo on Sunday after suffering an apparent foot sprain, but he's been back fully in practice this week and sounds ready to return. Berg's averaging 2.6 points and two rebounds in 10 games this season. Despite not seeing a ton of minutes, his availability is a notable one for Purdue, who is already down 7-4 freshman Daniel Jacobsen (lower leg) for the rest of the season.

On bench Saturday
Berg is not starting Saturday's game versus Marshall, the team announced.
Impact
Berg, who has started the last three games, is not starting versus Marshall. It's not that much of a surprise considering he averaged just 11.3 minutes across the last three games. Camden Heide joins the starting five in Berg's place.
