Logs three minutes Sunday
Leveque (knee) logged three minutes off the bench and didn't record a single stat in Sunday's 89-84 exhibition loss against Texas Tech.
Impact
Leveque didn't do much in the three minutes he was out there, but at least he showed he was healthy, meaning he should see time in the season opener against Texas A&M-Commerce on Nov. 6.

Starting in SEC tournament
Leveque will get the start at center for South Carolina in the SEC tournament, Michael Lananna of The State Newspaper reports.
Impact
Leveque, who played just two minutes in Saturday's loss against Auburn, will start at center for South Carolina moving forward. It appeared that there has been some kind of rift between Leveque and head coach Frank Martin, who pulled Leveque out of the game early on Saturday. Leveque has started 27 games this season, averaging 6.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 0.8 steals and one block on 20.7 minutes per game. Martin has stated that Leveque will be the starter for the SEC tournament despite the issue last game.

Drama in Columbia
Leveque logged just two minutes in Saturday's 82-71 loss to Auburn.
Impact
Leveque has started 27 games at center for the Gamecocks this season, but the 6-10 center has apparently gotten himself on the bad side of coach Frank Martin. According to Michael Lananna of The State, when asked about Leveque's status, Martin replied "Watching him play has hurt my eyes." Clearly, Martin appears disappointed with what he views as regression, and has publicly taken out his frustrations on a player who has made 50 career starts for the program. Oddly enough, Leveque has improved both his scoring average and shooting percentage from a season ago. Still, Martin pulled him from Saturday's contest after committing a foul early, and Leveque never returned to the game. Instead, 6-8 freshman Ta'Quan Woodley saw most of the minutes and started the second half at the five. It's unclear what, if anything, Leveque can do to earn his rotation spot back, but at this point, it wouldn't be surprising to see him seek a program that can better utilize his services during the offseason.

Returns to starting five
Leveque will start Saturday's regular-season finale versus Auburn.
Impact
Leveque moved to the bench for Senior Night to open the starting spot for AJ Wilson but will resume his duties as the team's starting center Saturday. Leveque actually saw more minutes than usual against Missou and put up a season-high four blocks, though he may find things a bit tougher against a strong Auburn squad Saturday.

To bench for Senior Night
Leveque moves to the bench for Senior Night against Missouri on Tuesday, David Cloninger of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.
Impact
Leveque will slide to the bench to make room in the starting lineup for AJ Wilson on his Senior Night. It likely won't have a major impact on Leveque's playing time, with the junior entering the night averaging just 14.0 minutes over the last three contests.
