Babacar Faye - Out for season, will seek redshirt Faye (knee) will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season and will seek a medical redshirt, Jeff Nations of Bowling Green Daily News reports.
Impact Faye, who has missed the last 17 games due to a knee injury, will miss the remainder of the season. The senior got his season off to an excellent start as he averaged 15.2 points and 7.8 rebounds across the first 10 games of the season, easily the best stretch of his career. Given he will be out of eligibility, Faye will seek a medical redshirt in hopes of playing one more season of collegiate basketball.

Khristian Lander - Expected to play Thursday Lander (undisclosed) is expected to play in Thursday's game at UTEP, Jeff Nations of Bowling Green Daily News reports.
Impact Head coach Hank Plona said on Tuesday that he expected to have Lander back healthy for Thursday's game. While that does not guarantee Lander will suit up, it certainly is a good sign for him. The senior has started 15 games (23 appearances) this season and is averaging 11.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per game.

Enoch Kalambay - DNP Saturday Kalambay (undisclosed) did not play in Saturday's game against Louisiana Tech.
Impact Kalambay did not play in this matchup as he appears to be dealing with some type of injury. The senior guard will aim to be back for Thursday's meeting with UTEP.
FEBRUARY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Babacar Faye - Doesn't play Saturday Faye (knee) didn't play in Saturday's win over Louisiana Tech.
Impact Faye initially set up a mid-February return date, but he's yet to return to the hardwood, and the second month of the year is set to expire. His next chance to suit up will come against UTEP on Thursday.
FEBRUARY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Tyrone Marshall - Drops 11 points Marshall (undisclosed) finished with 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and six rebounds in 27 minutes during Thursday's loss to Sam Houston State.
Impact Thursday was just the third game all season during which Marshall was brought off the bench. He continued to show production in the points and rebounding departments, averaging 10.2 points and 6.5 boards in 28 minutes per contest this season.
FEBRUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Khristian Lander - Just nine minutes off bench Lander (undisclosed) finished with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and a rebound in nine minutes during Thursday's loss to Sam Houston State.
Impact Lander was absent from the starting five after starting each of the previous nine games. He finished with a season-low nine minutes after averaging 30.5 minutes per contest over his last six contests. It's unclear what exactly is going on, but it's apparent Lander is limited with some sort of injury he's trying to play through. It will be worth seeing what his workload is like Saturday versus Louisiana Tech.
FEBRUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Tyrone Marshall - Absent from lineup Marshall is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Sam Houston State, Sports of SHSU reports.
Impact There had been no mention leading up to the game of Marshall dealing with an injury, so it will be worth monitoring if he ends up playing or not. Blaise Keita will enter the starting five in his place, providing the Hilltoppers with some additional size in the frontcourt.
FEBRUARY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Khristian Lander - Not starting Thursday Lander (undisclosed) is not in the starting five for Thursday's game versus Sam Houston State, Sports of SHSU reports.
Impact Lander is not in the starting five Thursday which brings concern that he may not be available. The point guard has started each of the last nine games and is averaging over 28 minutes per game over that stretch. He was dealing with a concussion ahead of the Hilltoppers' last game on Saturday, but he ended up playing so it's unclear if it's related.
FEBRUARY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Enoch Kalambay - Appears good to go Saturday Kalambay (illness) is warming up and appears set to play for the Hilltoppers, Topper Talk Podcast reports.
Impact Kalambay missed Western Kentucky's last game against Jacksonville State, but appears set to return against Middle Tennessee State on Saturday night. The starting guard averages 8.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists this season.

Impact Faye, who suffered an MCL injury against Murray State on Dec. 14, continues to work through his recovery process. While the team has yet to comment on an official return date, head coach Hank Plona stated, "I think we're probably looking at another three to four weeks". The 6-foot-8 senior, who started in each of WKU's first 10 games, could return in mid-February if he continues to progress as expected.

Babacar Faye - Misses fourth straight Faye suffered a knee injury Dec. 14 against Murray State and has not returned to the court since, missing a total of four games.
Impact Faye started the first 10 games of the season at center for Western Kentucky, averaging an impressive 15.2 ppg and 7.8 rpg -- both personal bests over his four-year collegiate career. He was set to get an MRI on the knee, according to Isaac Bourne of SB Nation, and hasn't been seen since, missing Thursday's C-USA opener against Liberty. Leeroy Odiahi and Tyrone Marshall have been manning the center position since, with the recent return of Blaise Keita also providing a depth option. Faye's next chance to take the court will be Saturday at Florida International.
