Bryce McGowens - Scores 25 in collegiate debut McGowens contributed 25 points (7-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 10-12 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 75-74 loss to Western Illinois.

Impact McGowens took on a starting role during his first collegiate appearance Tuesday, and he saw plenty of playing time against Western Illinois. Although Nebraska was unable to pick up the win, the freshman was one of two players to log at least 25 points in the season opener.
