Offers 15 points in loss
Yates finished Wednesday's 84-74 loss to Iowa with 15 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one rebound in 25 minutes.
Impact
Yates has been solid as of late, even as Washington has faltered down the stretch of Big Ten play. Since he re-entered the starting five on Jan. 25, he's averaging 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 51/61/100 shooting splits. The Huskies desperately need consistent scoring outside of Hannes Steinbach and Zoom Diallo, and Yates looks like he could provide that entering the home stretch of conference play.

It's unknown how much he'll be utilized given his abundance of absences as of late, but he should remain a meaningful contributor.

Unavailable at Huskers
Yates (undisclosed) isn't available at Nebraska on Wednesday night.
Impact
Yates has come off the bench for the Huskies after returning from a five game absence, but the guard will sit out yet another contest as Washington tries to hand Nebraska its first loss of the season. It's currently unclear if this still pertains to his wrist injury or if it's a new ailment entirely, but either way, the sophomore guard is a big loss.

Plays off bench in loss
Yates (wrist) racked up one point (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, two assists and one block over 14 minutes during Wednesday's 82-72 loss to Michigan.
Impact
Yates was questionable heading into Washington's tilt with Michigan, and the guard wound up playing, snapping a streak of five missed games. He came off the bench for the first time this season, and was ice cold, missing every shot he took from the floor across 14 minutes. Yates will look to continue to heal from his wrist injury and get back to the player he was before his absence -- the player who was averaging 14.9 points and 3.9 rebounds.

Unavailable vs. Utah
Yates (hand) is out for Monday's game against Utah, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
