Hopes to return against New MexicoCoach Leon Rice said Sunday that Shaver (foot) hopes to return for Boise State's next game against New Mexico on Dec. 21, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ImpactShaver has been dealing with a foot injury that he sustained Dec. 4 against College of Idaho, but he shed his walking boot ahead of Sunday's game against Weber State. Although he was inactive Sunday, the junior could be on track to return in the Broncos' next game Dec. 21.

Won't play SundayShaver (foot) is not dressed for Sunday's game against Weber State but has shed the walking boot he was wearing earlier in the week, Rachel Roberts of the Idaho Statesman reports.
ImpactShaver has been battling with a lingering foot injury that forced him to exit the win over College of Idaho on Dec. 4. Shaver was using a walking boot to relieve some of the weight off his foot but was seen Sunday without the boot which could entail that he'll begin to ramp up his productivity in workouts this coming week.
