Bryson Tucker - Nearing a return
Tucker (ankle) participated in some team drills at practice this week, Roman Tomashoff of USAToday.com reports.
Impact
Tucker, who has missed the last four games with an ankle injury, was seen running with the team and participating in a few shooting drills earlier this week at practice. The 6-foot-7 sophomore transfer from Indiana started in each of the Huskies' first three games, averaging 9.7 points and 7.3 rebounds on 26.7 minutes per game, Tucker's next chance to return will come against UCLA on Wednesday night, but the sophomore forward may need to wait a little longer before making a return.

Hannes Steinbach - Questionable Wednesday
Steinbach (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against UCLA, Dan Raley of SI.com reports.
Impact
Steinbach, who has missed the last three games with an ankle sprain, is hopeful to suit up against the Bruins, but remains questionable at this time. The 6-foot-11 freshman "has a chance" according to head coach Danny Sprinkle, as he tests out his ability to run and cut on the court. Steinbach started in each of Washington's first four games, averaging 14.5 points, 12.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks on 31.8 minutes per game. The young German center's status will be worth monitoring ahead of tipoff tomorrow night.

Desmond Claude - Working into Washington offense
Claude closed Friday's 81-68 loss to Colorado with 14 points (6-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes.
Impact
Claude made his 2025-26 season debut back on Nov. 18 when he scored 20 points off the bench against Southern. He returned to the starting lineup for the first game of the Acrisure Holiday Classic on Thursday, but the senior was held to just two points on 1-of-9 shooting. He had more success Friday due to high shot volume, but it appears he still needs some time to gel in the Washington offense after averaging 15.8 ppg last season with USC.

Steinbach isn't part of the Huskies' starting lineup for Friday's game against Colorado, Percy Allen of The Seattle Times reports.
Impact
Steinbach was deemed questionable and was spotted during pregame warmups Friday. His absence from the starting lineup could mean he's out, or at the very least, limited. Steinbach had started and played 29 or more minutes in all four appearances this season.

Hannes Steinbach - Observed in pregame warmups
Steinbach (ankle) was observed participating in pregame warmups ahead of Friday's meeting with Colorado, Percy Allen of The Seattle Times reports.
Impact
Steinbach is looking to make his return to the court after a two-game absence due to an ankle injury. The 6-foot-11 forward's participation in warmups bodes well for his chances of suiting up. Should he miss this contest, his next opportunity to suit up will be against UCLA during Wednesday's matchup.

Hannes Steinbach - Questionable Friday
Steinbach (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against Colorado.
Impact
Steinbach has missed back-to-back games due to an ankle injury, and he's at risk of missing a third. If Steinbach can't go Friday, Zoom Diallo and Quimari Peterson are slated to handle larger roles. The Huskies will be without starting wing Bryson Tucker (ankle) against Colorado.

Bryson Tucker - Out another game
Tucker (ankle) is out for Friday's game versus Colorado.
Impact
Tucker will be sidelined for his fourth straight game as he works back from an ankle injury that he suffered earlier this season. The sophomore forward's extended absence should give sophomore Zoom Diallo another start. Tucker's next chance to see the court will be next Wednesday against UCLA.

Bryson Tucker - Won't play vs. Nevada
Tucker (ankle) is out for Thursday's game against Nevada.
Impact
Tucker was doubtful to play in this matchup in Palm Springs at first, and in the end, he was unable to recover from a nagging ankle problem. Lathan Sommerville - Suffers ankle injury
Sommerville (ankle) reportedly twisted an ankle in practice this past weekend and is questionable for Thursday's contest against Nevada, per Max Vrooman of SB Nation.
Impact
Sommerville seems to be in jeopardy of missing his first contest of the season on Thursday due to a twisted ankle. The 6-foot-10 big man has had a solid start to the season for the Huskies, averaging 7.6 points and three rebounds per game across five contests since trasnfering in from Rutgers in the off-season. Should he be held out on Thanksgiving, the Huskies could be very thin in the frontcourt, with both Hannes Steinbach and Bryson Tucker questionable as well.
