Last Night in College Basketball: An Overtime Thriller For No. 6 Michigan
Morez Johnson - Drops 10 in starting role Johnson ended Tuesday's 85-84 OT victory over Wake Forest with 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes.
Impact Johnson was in a big man-heavy starting five for Michigan against the Demon Deacons, and he contributed a solid if inefficient 10 points on eight shots. He did hold down the paint with eight rebounds, but it was a far cry from his opener against Oakland in which he shot a scorching 10-of-12 from the field. Nonetheless, the Illinois transfer is proving his worth to this squad.

Elliot Cadeau - All over the court in OT win Cadeau closed Tuesday's 85-84 OT win over Wake Forest with 17 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-11 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes.
Impact Cadeau was everywhere against Wake Forest in Michigan's slim victory over the Demon Deacons, stuffing the stat-sheet in multiple categories. It was good to see him score at the clip he did Tuesday night after a quiet scoring night against Oakland in the opener in which he only logged five points (but did dish out 14 assists). Cadeau remains extremely vital to this Wolverines' squad.

Yaxel Lendeborg - Gets full workload in OT win Lendeborg racked up nine points (4-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 85-84 OT win over Wake Forest.
Impact Lendeborg is back in the starting five and carrying a full minutes workload after tending to a hand injury to begin the season. There's still some rust to shake off, however, as it wasn't the best shooting day, particularly from distance. In the meantime, starting center Aday Mara has been stealing the show, as he led the Wolverines with 18 points in Tuesday's come-from-behind effort. Next up is a road matchup Friday against TCU.

Aday Mara - Hot start continues, on both ends Mara notched 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-4 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists, five blocks and one steal over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 85-84 OT victory over Wake Forest.
Impact Even with his frontcourt counterpart Yaxel Lendeborg apparently at full strength and logging 33 minutes in this game, it was Mara who had the far more impactful fantasy performance. He led the Wolverines in both scoring and rebounding, staying out of foul trouble and playing a massive part in the come-from-behind effort. Mara also has 10 total blocks in two games, and Tuesday's effort was against a Wake Forest team with NCAA Tournament hopes, so it's not as if he's taking advantage of softer matchups. If he can keep this up into Big Ten play, Mara is looking like one of the steals of 2025-26 fantasy drafts.
