Impact The senior center hopes to gain a fifth year of eligibility from the NCAA after missing 10 games this season. He posted strong numbers with the Hoyas in 2025-26, though, averaging 11.6 points and 6.1 boards per game in 24 contests (six starts).

Impact Iwuchukwu had another excellent performance of the bench Wednesday, leading the Hoyas to the win with a 17-point, 14-rebound double-double. It marked his fifth double-double of the season and he's now averaging 21.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game across his last two appearances. Next up he takes on Villanova in the quarterfinal Thursday, a team he averaged 9.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game against this season.

He returned to the starting lineup Jan. 13 and scored 11, then started again Saturday and had his best game of the season against a tough UConn front line. The senior appears to be at full strength, and more importantly, capable of providing fantasy managers with a frontcourt boost ahead of prospective playoff runs.

Impact Iwuchukwu came off the bench in his third straight game Wednesday, but he played more minutes (22) than starting center Julius Halaifonua (12). Iwuchukwu also outplayed his teammate along with nearly all the rest of his teammates as he recording season highs in points (17) and rebounds (six). He got to the free throw line nine times in the win, and he has now attempted at least seven free throws in every game this season. He's hitting those free throws at around a 74 percent clip -- a very solid number for a 7-footer -- and that, along with his rebounding and shot blocking, helps give him a fairly solid floor. He has played more minutes than Halaifonua in every game this season, so he could find his way into the starting five soon.
