Impact Russell tied for the team lead in scoring Saturday while also generating plenty of production on the boards. The transfer from Rhode Island has taken on a sizable role during his first three games from Maryland, and he's shot 45.7 percent from the floor to begin the year.

Impact Davis was considered a game-time decision ahead of Saturday's matchup after he missed Thursday's opener due to a non-COVID illness. He'll be part of the starting five after participating in warmups.

Impact Davis didn't play in the season opener and while it remains to be seen if he'll be available for this weekend's contest, there's no question his presence would provide a huge boost for Vermont on both ends of the court. He averaged 18.5 points and 6.3 rebounds last season.
