Impact Jackson's double-double led all scorers in Tuesday's close loss. Jackson's 25 point performance was his highest total since Jan. 12, when he scored a season high 35. The senior forward has started in all 19 games with the Pirates this season, playing in his first year after transferring.

Impact After only averaging 3.8 points per game last season with Arkansas, Jackson looked to make more of a difference on offense, taking 15 shots, the highest quantity of shots he had taken since his sophomore year. Though he struggled to find the bottom of the net, Jackson's 13 rebounds were an anomaly. Jackson did not have a single game above nine rebounds and averaged just 2.0 rebounds per game last season.

Impact Vance had recently seen a significant uptick in minutes over the last three games with Justin Smith sidelined but is set to take on a more secondary role once again with Smith being able to return for Saturday's contest.
