Impact This has the potential to be a massive ruling for Russell and the long list of other athletes in his situation who had initially been denied eligibility for the 2023-24 season. Any time a school can add a 18.1 ppg scorer to its rotation in advance of conference play is a huge plus, and Russell's next opportunity to take the court will arrive Saturday against Air Force.

Impact Wilson missed the last seven games of the 2022-23 season due to a hip injury, but it appears he's in the clear, medically speaking, for his junior season at UT-Arlington. While the shots didn't fall in this one, the 6-9 forward more than made up for it with his activity on the glass and should continue to be a productive asset for fantasy managers in formats that include the WAC.

Impact Russell unfortunately falls into the category of a non-graduate two-time transfer and will have to sit out a year. Russell was a huge get in the portal after he put up 18.1 points and 5.1 assists per game at Southeast Missouri State. UT-Arlington will have to find some other backcourt options to lean on this season.
