Joey Calcaterra - Game-high 21 points Calcaterra mustered 21 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 74-62 win over UC Riverside.
Impact Calcaterra led all scorers with a game-high 21 points with some impressive efficiency on only nine shot attempts, and he was one of only two San Diego players to reach double figures. He didn't contribute much in the other statistical categories, which is a common trend for the 6-3 shooting guard. After being the main contributor in the offense last season, Pittsburgh transfer Terrell Brown has been the go-to-guy thus far.
