Logs 16 minutes in opener Norman (shoulder) contributed two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal in 16 minutes during Monday's 102-62 victory over Stony Brook.

Impact Norman suffered a shoulder injury in early-October, and while there had been little in terms of updates leading up to the season opener, he was still able to play and record the third-highest minutes total among Marquette reserves. The sophomore should see a minutes bump from the 9.0 mpg he logged a season ago across 34 games, but that may not be enough to get a spot on the fantasy radar in 2024-25.

Injured before team scrimmage Norman did not play during Marquette's team scrimmage Saturday due to a shoulder injury, per Ben Steele of The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Impact Norman's shoulder injury explains why he sat out Marquette's latest scrimmage, which is expected to be the 2024-25 Golden Eagles' last should they not add another before Nov. 4. That is when their regular season is expected to begin with a game against Stony Brook.

Impact Norman's playing time and offensive output have been non-existent at times this season, but he's now recorded double-digit minutes in four consecutive games for the first time all season, posting 5.8 points on 52.6 percent shooting over that span. Marquette could use another quality reserve option, and the freshman appears to be growing into that role well.
