Impact Okani connected on a season-high seven shots, including two from long range to tally a team-high 16 points while adding five boards, though it wasn't enough to prevent the Mountaineers from suffering the home defeat. It was just the second double-digit scoring output for Okani since the start of conference play. During that stretch, the senior forward is averaging 8.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.0 blocks across 31.7 minutes per contest.

Impact Okani had found himself in a bit of a slump of late, averaging just 6.1 ppg on 33.3 percent shooting in the seven games leading up to Saturday. But, despite seeing limited minutes due to foul trouble, the fifth-year senior managed to put up his best scoring total since Dec. 22. He and the rest of the West Virginia wings have seen added touches during the current 11-game absence of Tucker DeVries, and with little appearing on the star's status, expect status quo for the time being.
