The starting center will, luckily, "rejoin the team soon, so he'll aim for a return next Wednesday versus Southern Illinois when the Tigers return home. Impact Sylla, a seven-foot center who's played for UCF and most recently Stephen F. Austin, has committed to the Tigers. He played in 25 games during the 2024-2-2025 campaign, averaging 3.1 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 36.8 percent from the field as a bench player. He'll likely provide front court depth upon his arrival in Memphis, but should still see plenty of action for head coach Penny Hardaway's squad.
