Impact John had a very well-rounded performance in the win Tuesday. The forward barely attempted a shot the entire night, but did still go 50 percent from the floor. However, is most important impact was his positioning and on-and-off the ball work. He was dominant in the paint and managed to move the ball around. John also played some exceptional defense landing a few steals and blocks. If he can continue these all-around performances, he will be more than viable for the Golden Eagles as they battle for ground in the Big East.

Impact John struggled once again in the loss Tuesday. The forward had a rocky start to the season, found some form eventually and now lost form again. He has yet to consistently produce this season and has been a big disappointment for the Golden Eagles who are trying to stay in the top-half of the conference. Until he can produce and consistently at that, there are other options to choose from.

Impact John had been limited in practice this week due to a knee issue and was held scoreless in his last game against UCLA, so his status for Monday wasn't perfectly cleared. While the senior did take on his regular spot in the starting five, forward Justin Lewis was more active off the bench, logging 31 minutes in the contest. Freshman Dawson Garcia also had his most active game on the glass of the season, hauling in 10 rebounds to go along with his 14 points. John and the Golden Eagles draw Seton Hall on Thursday, and while it doesn't appear like this issue will force an absence, it's fair to wonder if he's at 100 percent.

Impact John started Friday's game and recorded zero points (0-2 FG), six rebounds, two assists and one block over 26 minutes. While his availability didn't seem to be an issue against the Bruins, his mobility was reportedly hindered in practice ahead of Friday's contest. It's unclear whether he'll face any restrictions during Monday's matchup against Creighton, but his usage against UCLA is certainly an encouraging sign.
