Jai Lucas announced as Miami's new coach. He'll take over for Jim Larrañaga with the Hurricanes

Jai Lucas and Miami have finalized the contract that makes him the school’s new men’s basketball coach, nearly two weeks after they struck preliminary agreement on a deal
MARCH 5 Associated Press
Shawn Jones - Gets to double-digit points Jones ended with 10 points (3-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 87-82 OT loss to Texas.
Impact Jones' 10 points were just the second time he'd scored in double figures this season. He only shot 3-of-8 from the field but was perfect from the free-throw line and hit a triple. Jones has been a solid, veteran presence off the bench all season, and he'll look to keep that going as the SEC tournament nears.

Riley Kugel - Rough shooting night in narrow loss Kugel accumulated 12 points (3-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-9 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 87-82 OT loss to Texas.
Impact Kugel scored 12 points for the second-consecutive game, but he only shot 37 percent from the field including a dismal 1-of-5 from downtown. He did, however, match a season-high with four rebounds and set a new season high with seven assists. The poor shooting really doomed the Bulldogs, however, and they'll look to bounce back in their final regular season game against Arkansas.
MARCH 5 ROTOWIRE
Michael Nwoko - Essentially a non-factor in loss Nwoko amassed two points (0-3 FG, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 11 minutes during Tuesday's 87-82 OT loss to Texas.
Impact Nwoko played just 11 minutes despite the "start," which should be kept in mind. Still, he missed every shot from the field and pulled down just two boards despite his 6-foot-10 frame. He did have two assists and a steal, but Nwoko simply won't be able to impact the Bulldogs like they need him to if he picks up three fouls in 11 minutes.
MARCH 5 ROTOWIRE
Cameron Matthews - Finally back in double figures Matthews ended with 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 87-82 OT loss to Texas.
Impact Matthews logged his first double-digit scoring affair since Jan. 18, and needed overtime to get there. It was the first time the guard had even attempted double-digit shots since Jan. 14. He stayed active on the glass with five rebounds and two blocks as well. Matthews will look to close out the regular season strong against Arkansas.
MARCH 5 ROTOWIRE
Tre Johnson - Drops 23 in crucial upset victory Johnson had 23 points (8-16 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one steal over 43 minutes during Tuesday's 87-82 OT victory over Mississippi State.
Impact Johnson played a whopping 43 minutes in the huge overtime win over Mississippi State that has a Longhorns team that once looked dead in the water potentially in position to sneak into the dance with a solid showing in the SEC tournament. The freshman shot 50 percent from the field, including a scorching 66 percent from deep. Look for Texas to once again lean on Johnson in the regular season finale against Oklahoma.
