Near double-double in return Lucas totaled 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt), one rebound, nine assists and two steals in 40 minutes during Thursday's 83-82 1OT victory over Loyola Marymount.

Impact Lucas scored at least 15 points for the sixth time and dished out a season-high nine assists during his first contest following a one-game absence due to an undisclosed injury. The senior transfer is averaging 10.7 points, 4.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 30.3 minutes during his first campaign with BYU.

Impact Lucas led BYU with 10 points in the low scoring outing but it wasn't his most efficient night as he shot just 33 percent from the field. It was the first time the team's starting point guard was held without an assist all season. Through 15 games thus far, Lucas has connected on 43 percent of his shot attempts.

Impact Lucas was only able to make a pair of field goals in the surprising loss to Vanderbilt, his fourth straight game in which he was held to under 10 points. During that four game stretch he's only shooting 33 percent but has helped facilitate some offense with five assists per game. Lucas has also struggled with turnovers this season, leading the team with 2.6 per game.
