Out against Pitt Curry (ankle) will not play Saturday against Pittsburgh, Matt McGavic of Sports Illustrated reports.

Impact Curry is coming off a double-double but will not be able to play in Saturday's contest due to an ankle injury. Malik Williams could be tasked with handling more minutes in his stead and freshman Roosevelt Wheeler could see additional playing time as well.

Posts double-double off bench Curry totaled 22 points (10-13 FG, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 79-63 loss to North Carolina State.

Impact Curry had been a non-factor for Louisville most of the season, but he's experienced an uptick in his playing time of late and is making the most of that opportunity. The junior delivered his best game of the campaign by a wide margin, but it would be unrealistic to believe he'd be putting up these numbers on a regular basis going forward.

Impact Curry is in his first year at Louisville after transferring over in the offseason from John A. Logan College. The 6-8 junior averaged 12.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game a season ago while earning Great Rivers Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors. It'll be interesting to see if he can maintain the same level of play at this level. He will likely be rotating with Malik Williams in the frontcourt.
