Impact Manley had not played in a game since March of 2019 due to lingering knee problems but he finally was able to return to the court for Saturday's regular-season finale. Impact Manley hasn't appeared in a contest since 2018-19 due to a troublesome knee problem. While Williams seems to be holding out hope that Manley could contribute in a future season, the junior isn't expected to do anything of note in 2020-21 and it's still unclear whether or not he will ever see meaningful minutes again at Chapel Hill.

Impact Manley has been dressed in each of the last four games for but has yet to take the floor. Seeing that he didn't play despite Saturday's game being a blowout should entail that he likely won't end up making an appearance this season after undergoing knee surgery in December of 2019.

Impact Manley is warming up for the second straight contest, which could be an indication that the junior big man is drawing close to a return to action. Even if he makes his way back to the floor Saturday, he's likely to play minimal minutes as he continues to work his way back from a devastating knee injury.

Impact This contest would have been a good opportunity for Manley to get in some action if he was ready, but it appears the junior isn't there yet. There are still some questions regarding whether or not his knee will ever be in good enough shape to allow him back into action, but his recent participation in practice is at least a positive sign.

This is likely part of his rehab progression which could signal that he's getting very close to a potential return. The 6-11 junior hasn't played since March 29 of 2019 as he's had to go through an intense recovery process stemming from a left knee procedure.

His teammate, Armando Bacot, said Manley has looked impressive and will surprise a lot of people when he returns. There remains no official timetable for his return but it appears as though he's making good progress towards eventually playing this season.
