Won't play this season Venters will miss the 2023-2024 season with a knee injury, Jeff Goodman of Stadium reports Wednesday.

Impact Venters transferred over from Eastern Washington in the offseason after two prolific years in the Big Sky conference. Last season, the forward put up 15.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 45.7 percent from the field. It's a brutal injury for Venters and the Zags, who open their season Friday against Yale. In Venters' absence, Dusty Stromer and Colby Brooks should see an uptick in minutes.
