Impact Pope had not hit more than three 3-pointers in a game before Wednesday, but he had everything in alignment against the Wolfpack. He nearly doubled his previous season high of 15 points. The 6-1 senior converted 52.2 percent of his 3-pointers in the Maui Invitational after coming in knocking down just 27.6 percent from the perimeter. The truth lies somewhere in between. Pope is off for a week when the Longhorns face Virginia.

Chendall Weaver - Scores season-high 17 Weaver racked up 17 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 102-97 win over North Carolina State.
Impact Coach Archie Miller shortened the rotation and only played eight players in the win over the Wolfpack. Weaver set season highs across the board. He had only hit one 3-pointer and scored in double digits coming into Wednesday's game. The 6-3 senior has played at least 20 minutes since the opener, but maybe the performance against North Carolina State will garner him more minutes going forward.

Impact Copeland was one of three NC State players who scored in double digits, alongside Paul McNeil and Ven-Allen Lubin, but their efforts weren't enough to top the Longhorns. Copeland is having a career-best start to a season, and this was his best performance of 2025-26 to date.
