Isaiah Cottrell - Unavailable Monday Cottrell (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's regular-season opener against Southern, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Cottrell was in a walking boot in late September and continues to deal with the foot injury to begin the regular season. While he'll be unavailable Monday, coach Kevin Kruger said in late October that Cottrell should be able to return to full strength shortly after the regular-season opener. The transfer from West Virginia will have a few days to recover before UNLV faces Incarnate Word on Nov. 12.
