Nick Boyd - Stays hot for Badgers Boyd recorded 22 points (6-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals over 28 minutes during Monday's 94-69 victory over SIUE.

Impact Boyd continues to tear through mid-major opposition, scoring 21 or more in three of four games to begin the year while posting career highs in scoring (20.0 ppg) and shooting percentage (46.4). The first real test for the Badgers arrives Friday, however, with a late-afternoon matchup against a surging BYU program.

Braeden Carrington - Providing spark off the bench Carrington amassed six points (2-5 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), one rebound and two assists over 14 minutes during Monday's 94-69 win over SIUE.

Impact Wisconsin has gotten much of its production from its starting five this season. That checks out, as this could be the strongest top group we've seen in Madison in years. Still, the Badgers need production off the bench, and Carrington is leading that charge, at least in the back court. The Tulsa transfer hit another two triples as Wisconsin moved to 4-0 with a win over SIUE on Monday; Carrington can do a little of everything, and that's huge in helping him stay on the court.

Aleksas Bieliauskas - Top big man off the bench Bieliauskas logged eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 15 minutes during Monday's 94-69 win over SIUE.

Impact Bieliauskas has consistently been the Badgers' go-to big man off the bench through four games this season. Freshman Will Garlock is also getting some run, but the Lithuanian forward's experience overseas has helped him settle in a little quicker at the college level. He's been efficient from the floor, shooting 66.7 percent, and averages 4.0 rebounds. Bieliauskas looks like a small but critical pice of this Wisconsin squad at the moment.

John Blackwell - Leading scorer as UW moves to 4-0 Blackwell produced 24 points (6-11 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 94-69 victory over SIUE.

Impact Blackwell dropped 24 points after a quiet eight-point showing against Ball State. The junior guard was aggressive but tactical, putting up 11 shots and draining five three-pointer. Wisconsin needed its star guard to take another leap this season, and through four games, with Blackwell averaging 19.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists on 50/50/91 shooting splits, it's safe to say he's answered the bell. Things get significantly more difficult against BYU on Friday afternoon, however.
