Impact Lewis has entered the transfer portal once again and will now look for his fourth school in as many years. He started his career with two seasons at Kansas State, then spent one season with Rice, transferred to NAIA Keiser University before spending this past season with Western Michigan. He has yet to start a Division I game in his career.

Impact Max Fiedler and Andrew Akuchie were the Owls' preferred centers of their 2022-23 season. So unfortunately for Lewis, he averaged fewer than 7.0 minutes across his 20 games (zero started) during it. The center wants to enroll in a school whose program will give him more opportunities.

Kansas State forward Seryee Lewis will miss the upcoming basketball season after having surgery last week to repair a torn ACL that he sustained in preseason workouts

Won't play in 2021-22 Coach Bruce Weber revealed Thursday that Lewis "suffered a severe injury" this fall that will cost him all of the 2021-22 season, Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle reports.

Impact Lewis wasn't a major contributor for the Wildcats last year but did average 5.3 minutes per game off the bench and figured to be part of the bench rotation again this year. Instead, he will now turn his focus toward rehabbing and getting healthy ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Logs seven minutes Saturday Lewis (not injury related) had four points (2-2 FG) and three rebounds in seven minutes of action during Saturday's 82-67 loss to Texas.

Impact Head coach Bruce Webber mentioned before the game that Lewis would be limited, however, there wasn't much expectation that the 6-9 freshman would play much anyway as he came into Saturday's contest averaging just 7.5 minutes per game this season.
