Kevin Patton - Surprise absence Saturday Patton (undisclosed) did not take the court in Saturday's 89-84 victory over Pacific.

Impact Patton had started the last nine games for San Diego, averaging an impressive 11.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists over that span. His unexpected (and unannounced) absence resulted in Dragos Lungu stepping in the starting lineup, with Jimmy Oladokun seeing more run as well. Patton's next chance to take the court will be Thursday against Portland.

Makai Richards - Sits out Saturday Richards (undisclosed) did not play in Saturday's 89-84 loss to San Diego.

Impact Richards had started the last six games for Pacific, averaging 7.7 points and 3.7 rebounds over that span. The fact the 6-10 center didn't play at all on a day an 11-man rotation was used suggests an injury is more than likely in play. In his stead, Cam Denson was forced to pick up more time at the five, while Donovan Williams returned to the starting lineup. Pacific had already been struggling at full strength and another injury certainly didn't help, as the Tigers fell to 0-11 in WCC play.
