Impact It's unclear if Seiko's tooth extraction Friday puts him in any danger of missing Saturday's tilt versus Utah State, but more information on that front should surface ahead of the opening tip. the junior has moved into a starting role over the past five games, which has brought with it an increase to an average of 25 minutes per game compared to 17 minutes per contest in his first seven off the bench.

Undergoes MRI Mitchell underwent an MRI on his knee, Mark Zeigler of the San Diego Unioni-Tribune reports.

Impact Mitchell departed Thursday's game against Utah State with the knee issue and could be headed for more time on the shelf pending the results of the MRI. He was at least spotted doing some small things in practice Friday, so there's a chance his layoff won't be a long one if he's forced to miss additional action.
