Impact It was the best scoring total of the month for Byrd, who also registered his best single-game rebounding effort since Dec. 4. The above-average production couldn't have came at a better time for the Aztecs, who picked up a signature win to stay on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.

Impact This was a win the Aztecs had to have to stay on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, and Boyd's clutch shooting and all-around effort helped them secure it. On the season, Boyd leads the defensive-minding Aztecs in scoring with a 13.0 ppg average. Next up is a road matchup against Wyoming on Saturday.
