Miles Byrd - Effective on both ends
Byrd registered 13 points (3-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 73-65 win over New Mexico.
Impact
It was the best scoring total of the month for Byrd, who also registered his best single-game rebounding effort since Dec. 4. The above-average production couldn't have came at a better time for the Aztecs, who picked up a signature win to stay on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.

Nick Boyd - Leads SDSU to victory
Boyd amassed 17 points (5-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds and six assists over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 73-65 victory over New Mexico.
Impact
This was a win the Aztecs had to have to stay on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, and Boyd's clutch shooting and all-around effort helped them secure it. On the season, Boyd leads the defensive-minding Aztecs in scoring with a 13.0 ppg average. Next up is a road matchup against Wyoming on Saturday.
