Impact Griffen missed the second half of Texas A&M's loss to UCF due to an ankle injury, but the senior wing has been cleared for Tuesday's contest. In the three games before facing UCF, Griffen averaged 11.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steals across 23.7 minutes.

Dealing with ankle injury Griffen didn't play in the second half of Friday's game against UCF due to an ankle injury, head coach Buckey McMillan told Travis L. Brown of The Bryan-College Station Eagle.
Impact McMillan revealed that Griffen was dealing with a banged up ankle, and that was the reason why he didn't log minutes in the second half. Griffen finished scoreless (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt) while adding four assists and a steal across 18 minutes. It remains to be seen how he'll evolve in the coming days to see whether he'll be able to face Montana on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
