Impact In his first season as a starter, Godfrey has been a steady if quiet force for Georgia. He's only hit double-digit points once, and his rebounding has been somewhat inconsistent as well. Still, it doesn't appear his role as a starter is in jeopardy anytime soon as Georgia enters the meat of SEC play.

Impact Godfrey technically started for Georgia, but he only played nine minutes in a narrow victory over Grand Canyon. The forward averages 21.0 minutes, so that was a bit of an outlier. Still, he's a limited part of the Bulldogs' offense and that should remain the case moving forward.

The sophomore does stand at least a decent chance to improve from his 2022-23 season though. It indicates Clemson's head coach Brad Brownell liked using Godfrey, who averaged almost 10 minutes across 33 of 34 games the team played.

Ankle issue Coach Brad Brownell said that Godfrey has battled an ankle injury in fall camp, Jon Blau of The Post and Courier reports.

Impact Godfrey is one of a handful of Clemson players that have been working through injuries in fall camp. It's unclear if it will end up costing him any games to start the season. Godfrey is expected to be primarily a bench player who shouldn't get a ton of minutes when the roster is fully healthy.
